Apophanies and A Bay of Spent Stars is lyrical and autobiographical prose and poem. It uses Apophania as a methodology to deconstruct and reconstruct family, place, myth and history. It looks into how complications of reason find expression within family dynamics, care, and toward landscape. Part auto-theory, it strings together irrational meaning-making, recovery, landscape and oral history .
